ACCREDITED MEMBERSHIP
Eligibility
Who can apply to become an accredited Registered Master Landscaper?
- Individuals or companies who have been in business for a minimum of two years and demonstrate excellence in the areas of expertise in which they are applying and/or
- An Associate (General) Member at the expiry of their two-year Associate Membership period who can demonstrate excellence in the areas of expertise in which they are applying

Categories of Expertise
Applications for accreditation can be submitted across one or more of the following categories of expertise.
Accredited areas of expertise will be noted on the annual certificate of membership and on member website profile.

Landscape Design
You can apply to be accredited in specific areas within Design (ie planting design, lighting etc).
OR in Design overall. -
Landscape Construction
Hard Landscaping Specific areas within Construction (ie irrigation, paving etc) or in Construction overall.

Landscape Horticulture
Soft landscaping - soil preparation, plant selection, plantings, lawn.

Landscape Maintenance
Landscape nurturing and care.

Landscape Contract Management*
*The applicant applying for this area of expertise must already be accredited in at least two areas of expertise.
The Pathway to Accreditation
Registered Master Landscapers accreditation process vets individuals or businesses in their ability to competently perform the services they advertise.
As part of this process. Applicants are required to submit documentation and have available for assessment, installed work for two projects which must have been undertaken by the applicant and or your staff in the course of your work.
Application Fee $100.00
The membership year runs from 1 August to 31 July.
Annual Subscription
Fees are proportioned for applications received during the year and exclude GST.
Fees are calculated based on member turnover

$150,001 to $500,000 | $750 |
$500,000 to $1,000,000 | $1,500 |
Over $1,000,000 | 2,000 |

Associate Membership
Associate membership is designed as a stepping stone towards accredited or affiliate membership and has a two-year time limit, by which time it is anticipated that the Associate member will be ready to apply for accreditation.
Associate members are supported by a senior member mentoring programme to help promote to full accreditation status.

Eligibility
- Individuals or companies who are new to the industry or new to the country
- Students and apprentices who have successfully completed a recognised landscape qualification
- Those who will eventually be eligible to apply for accredited membership after the two years maximum Associate membership period has elapsed
NOTE: Associate members are not permitted to use the Registered Master Landscapers logo and branding, nor advertise that they are members of Registered Master Landscapers.
Associate Subscription Fee
- $300.00 excluding GST

Student/Apprenticeship Membership
Eligibility
Student or Apprentice currently engaged in landscape-related courses through a recognised institution (part or full time).
Registered Master Landscapers membership entitles students or apprentices to:
- Enter Awards programme
- Student rates for Registered Master Landscapers Conference
- Be kept informed of Association activities
- Attend branch meetings for networking of potential employment opportunities
Students or apprentices application fee and subscription
$50 per annum including gst
