For 2024, the competition is being revamped to test competitors on a broader range of skills within each practical station and give our young landscapers from across the industry the chance to showcase their abilities through interpretation of scopes and application of knowledge.
Awards
In addition to the overall winner of Young Landscaper of the Year, competitors will have the chance to win prizes in the Outstanding Achievement Award categories:

Communication |
highest combined score from interview and speech, with consideration from judges regarding communication around each station |

Leadership |
awarded to the individual who demonstrated leadership through consistent professionalism, quality, communication, and innovation – as decided by judges |
|
Softscape Practitioner |
highest combined score from softscape stations, with consideration from judges regarding knowledge of practical elements of each station |
|
Hardscape Practitioner |
highest combined score from hardscape stations, with consideration from judges regarding knowledge of practical elements of each station |
